The nephew of Serbian war criminal, Radovan Karadzic, has revealed that Europe’s most wanted man used to visit the San Siro to follow Inter.
Karadzic was recently arrested in Belgrade after being on the run from the International Criminal Tribunal since 1995.
He is accused of a number of crimes during the Bosnian war and is now likely to face the justice system.
His nephew, Dragan Karadzic, admits his uncle was a big fan of Calcio and that he used to be a die-hard Nerazzurri fan.
“My uncle used to go to the San Siro to follow Inter and his idols, Sinisa Mihajlovic and Dejan Stankovic,” Karadzic told Il Corriere Della Sera.
“He is a big fan of Calcio and he used to go to see matches in 2004. First at Lazio and then Inter.”
Radovan Karadzic became one of the world’s most wanted criminal’s but his penchant for the Italian game will have, once again, tarnished the Calcio image.
