Roma skipper Francesco Totti has refused to clear the air with Juventus' newly-signed midfielder Christian Poulsen.
Totti was banned for three matches during EURO 2004 after spitting at Poulsen during Italy's goalless draw with Denmark in the group stage.
The 31-year-old playmaker issued a public apology afterwards, but insisted that he was provoked by the tough-tackling Poulsen.
Totti will probably come face-to-face with Poulsen once again after the Dane joined Juventus from Spanish side Sevilla.
Poulsen has promised to shake Totti’s hands when Roma play Juventus in the Serie A but the latter doesn’t seem open to the idea of forgetting what happened four years ago.
"It's easy to talk now," Totti told Gazzetta dello Sport on Saturday.
"He could have came and told the truth at the hearing the day after. I don't think he adds anything [to Juve] at a technical level."
