In-demand Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger has revealed that he will speak to his current club before considering any move...
There has been reported interest in the dynamic midfielder from several clubs including Internazionale and Chelsea following his match-winning performances for Germany at Euro 2008.
This came off the back of a poor season at club level with Munich, where he often flattered to deceive and could not put a consistent run of quality performances together.
Whether he may take this turn of events as a sign to move on to new pastures has been a point of contention, but he has hinted that staying at Bayern seems to be his priority.
"I'll be talking to Bayern before I talk to anyone else, Bayern Munich is my home,” the 23-year-old told the club's official website.
"There's a lot happening, everything's on an upward curve, we're moving in the right direction."
