Hamburg captain Rafael Van der Vaart stressed 'there is nothing' between him and Real Madrid, following reports linking him with the Spanish champions.
Marca reported on Thursday that Real are weighing a €20M bid for the Holland playmaker, who declared that he is staying in the Bundesliga.
"I have checked everything and there is nothing to it," Van der Vaart told the German press.
"I have the feeling that I'll be playing for Hamburg for another year.
"Yesterday it was Atletico, today it's Real. It'll probably keep going on like this."
Van der Vaart asked HSV to sell him to Valencia last season, but the German club's board blocked the transfer.
However, former Ajax man stated recently that he wants to stay with Hamburg, following the appointment of Martin Jol this summer.
