Egyptian striker Mido proved that he is determined to gain his top form again as he looked very impressive in the first day of Middlesbrough pre-season training.
The Evening Gazette said on Tuesday that "Mido looked in spectacular shape after working on his fitness back home in Egypt, emphasizing the point in a skin-tight red T-shirt."
The 25-year old striker had a poor season plagued by injuries and missed most of Boro's campaign.
Mido had a special training program in Egypt under the supervision of Middlesbrough's fitness coach.
The report revealed that Marvin Emnes and Didier Digard joined up with their team-mates for the first time.
Meanwhile Captain George Boateng missed the session as he is on the verge of moving to Hull City while Tuncay has been given an extra fortnight off following his exertions for European Championship semi-finalists Turkey.
