Tottenham Hotspur head coach Juande Ramos has given the clearest indication yet that more recruits will be brought to White Hart Lane before the summer window closes...
Tottenham have been quite active in the window thus far, having sealed deals for, among others: PSV glovesman Heurelho Gomes, England hopeful David Bentley, Mexican forward Gio Dos Santos, and Croatian playmaker Luka Modric.
Despite these high-profile recruits, Ramos insists that more names will be incoming, telling the Echo: "We've got a list of targets we are working very on. Negotiations are tough and are even tougher than usual. We know what we are working towards and we know what our objectives are."
He continued: "The process of signing players takes time, but fans should be aware we are trying to strengthen up front and sign a new forward."
He concluded: "It's true to say we have one or two areas that we need to look at defensively and maybe solve a few problems at the back."
Diego Capel, Andrei Arshavin, and Vedran Corluka have all been linked with a move to the Spurs.
