Barcelona Atlètic have completed the signing of Antonio Longás from Real Zaragoza after several days of negotiations and have sold Marc Valiente to Sevilla.
The Catalan club's second string coach Luis Enrique will be able to include the highly-rated 23-year-old next season after the deal was completed after Barça made signing him a priority.
While Longás has peened a two-year deal with Barça, Valiente will not be around next term at Camp Nou though, after Sevilla finally reached an agreement to sign the 21-year-old defender.
The details of Valiente’s transfer to Sevilla are yet to be confirmed and it is thought they are putting the finishing touches to it this week.
Following the step up of Pep Guardiola to first team coach there is no doubt that Luis Enrique will be keen to impress with the B side this season.
Since his appointment as Barcelona Atlètic coach Enrique has already shown that the team will continue to play attractive football.
After returning to the club last month to replace Guardiola at the helm, Luis Enrique has seen several of Atlètic's best players promoted to the first team squad for the pre-season tours of Scotland and the United States.
