Kezman's PSG Move In Doubt

Mateja Kezman’s proposed move to Paris St Germain is in jeopardy as Fenerbahce are insisting on a high price for the striker.

The ex-Chelsea forward is thought to be surplus to requirements at Fener, with new manager Luis Aragones bringing in Daniel Guiza from Real Mallorca this summer.

As such, it was expected that Kezman would complete a move to the French capital, as PSG seek to add striking options to their squad, following David Ngog’s sale to Liverpool.

However, any potential deal is in doubt as the Turkish club’s valuation of the Serbian does not match that of the Ligue 1 side.

Kezman admits that the deal has stalled, and has laid the finger of blame in the direction of Fener club president, Aziz Yildirim. He revealed his fears that PSG are going to seek striking options elsewhere as the transfer window begins to close.

He told Le Parisien: "I think Paris are going to have to look for another solution because it is very tricky to find an agreement with Fenerbahce. I am very disappointed by this situation.

"I would love to play for Paris but I still have two years left on my contract with Fenerbahce, the clubs can't come to an agreement and the president is playing a very hard game with me."

PSG could move for Milan Baros of Lyon should they fail to land the 29-year-old Kezman, while Rennes striker Jimmy Briand remains a long-time target.
